When HSV began the extensive modernization of the Volksparkstadion roof in 2022, it quickly became clear: this was not just construction material being removed — it was a piece of history. For the club, it was an important step in upgrading the stadium infrastructure. For many fans and VIP members, however, it also meant a period of limitations around their familiar stadium experience.
When the construction was completed in 2025, we asked ourselves a central question together:
How can a structural necessity be turned into an emotional opportunity?
Our answer was clear: preserve history and make it tangible.
Original pieces of the stadium membrane were carefully integrated into a range of high quality memorabilia: elegant framed displays, metal keychains, and transparent acrylic blocks in which the material is permanently embedded. The result was a collection of special keepsakes — small in size, but rich in meaning — preserving a genuine piece of stadium history.
Another emotional milestone soon followed on the sporting side: promotion back to the Bundesliga. We wanted to capture this special moment as well. Pieces of the original promotion turf were also embedded in acrylic blocks and enhanced with precise laser engraving. A true piece of promotion — preserved for eternity.
These editions served as exclusive gifts for partners and VIP members, but also found their way into the official HSV shop – where they were met with a strong response from fans. The acrylic blocks sold out within just a few days.
At the same time, we regularly supply the club’s official Supporters Club with high-quality metal pins and detailed jersey keychains – products that make club identity visible in everyday life and carry emotional meaning.
For us, projects like these go far beyond pure product development. They represent the opportunity to transform materials into memories – and to continue telling a piece of stadium history together with HSV.
