06.10.2026 - As football’s most prestigious individual award celebrates its 70th anniversary, Am Ball is proud to become an official licensee. The partnership marks a new chapter for us and makes the award the second individual honour in our licensing range.
Since its introduction in 1956, the Ballon d’Or has become one of the most iconic and respected individual awards in football. Each year, it recognises the outstanding player of the previous season and has been awarded to some of the greatest names in the history of the sport. Over seven decades, the Ballon d’Or has grown far beyond an annual award ceremony, becoming a symbol of excellence, achievement and footballing legacy.
For Am Ball, becoming an official Ballon d’Or licensee represents a significant milestone. As part of the partnership, we are now officially licensed to develop, manufacture and distribute Ballon d’Or merchandise – bringing the iconic award and its history to fans beyond the pitch. We are kicking off the partnership with a special keychain featuring a detailed replica of the legendary Ballon d’Or trophy. Compact, collectible and instantly recognizable, the keychain offers fans the opportunity to carry a piece of football history with them wherever they go. It is now available through our webshop.
